FAQ
When/how do I pay?
We require a non-refundable booking fee of 75% of the invoice to book your party. The balance will be charged after your party.
+Do I need to provide anything?
Our scientists will need a 6 ft. table, access to water for set-up and clean-up, as well as access to electricity. Please let us know if your party location does not have any of these.
+How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Our party schedule fills up quickly. We suggest you book well in advance to get the date and time you want. Generally, at least 3 weeks in advance is recommended.
+Is it okay to have other activities going on while the Mad Scientist is performing?
The Mad Scientist will begin at the scheduled start time and continue until our portion of the entertainment is finished. We will not be able to stop for any other activities (ex. food or cake). For safety, we ask that no food be served during the Mad Science performance. Please plan accordingly.
+How do I get in touch with Mad Science on the weekends since you are closed?
Please send an email to chloej.cla@madscience.net at least 4 hours before the party starts. We will do our best to resolve any issue that arises.
+CANCELLATION POLICY - PARTIES "We perform rain or shine!"
If you cancel/change dates with more than 72 hours notice, you will not be charged the balance of the party. You have one year to use the non-refundable booking fee towards a new party. If you cancel/change dates within 72 hours - there are no refunds, and 100% of the amount paid will be forfeited.
+For what ages are your parties appropriate?
Our parties are appropriate for children ages 4-12. Younger siblings generally watch, but do not actively participate in the party and should not make a take-home. We determine the number of attendees based on the number of children between the ages of 4 and 12 that make a take-home.
+Once I have scheduled my party, can I make changes to it later?
Any changes to your party must be scheduled at least three business days before your party.
